THESE THREE REMAIN
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13).
This month we continue our 3-part study series in which we seek to define these gifts of God’s grace to us as believers and what it looks like for each to be active and growing in our lives.

Southwest Visit
We are delighted to be spending the weekend with Tralee Baptist Church from 24th - 26th November in County Kerry.
We are delighted to be spending the weekend with Tralee Baptist Church from 24th - 26th November in County Kerry.
We will be delivering a couple of workshops to the church on Saturday 25th and sharing with them on Sunday 26th during their Sunday worship time. There are a few ways that you can be involved in this trip!
1) Finance: As a small ministry seeking to build up the church across Ireland, trips like this are only made possible through the generosity of believers and churches who see the value in equipping Christians to read the Bible for themselves.
If you would like to make a gift to support this trip, or help us with future trips, please consider making a donation either through Stewardship, or by contacting us directly. Any gifts that are specifically for this trip should be earmarked “Southwest23” and it will all go towards this initiative.
2) Let people know: We have set aside time on Friday night and Saturday afternoon to meet with church leaders in that area as we want to connect with others and hear about their churches and the ministries they are involved in. If you know a church leader in that area, please tell them we’re going to be about! And pass on our email address: info@preceptireland.org. (P.S. We’ll buy them a coffee!)
3) Pray: Please pray for us as we leave Belfast on Friday 24th. It is a long drive to County Kerry, so prayers for safety in travel there and back are needed. Pray too that our workshops and training will bring benefit to the church in Tralee and for opportunities to share about Precept with others in the region.
Thank you for supporting us!
Blessings,
Dave
National Director

Tribute: Anne Cairns
It is with great sadness that the Precept Ireland team learned of the passing of Anne Cairns on 14th October, 2023.
It is with great sadness that the board and staff of Precept Ireland learned of the passing of Anne Cairns on Saturday 14th October, 2023, and extend our sincerest condolences to her daughter Rachel and family.
Anne has long been a Precept Ireland supporter and advocate, and was instrumental in establishing Precept here in Ireland. Anne had been foundational in helping to bring Precept to Ireland, and was a trustee when it was setup as a trust in 2005 where she then served on the Precept board for several years. She was a major support to Precept’s first National Director Valerie Murphy, and served as a friend and encourager.
Anne’s love for God and her knowledge of His Word was evident to all who knew her. After stepping down from the board, she continued to attend Precept events, and supported the team by praying faithfully for us. In recent years she had consistently led Precept classes in her own church alongside her daughter Rachel. Though Anne was a capable communicator and excellent Bible teacher, she committed herself firstly to be a student of the Scriptures, and others always benefitted from her insights.
Please join us in praying for Rachel, Anne’s son-in-law Dominic, her grandchildren, the family circle and all those who knew and loved Anne, and who will feel this great loss.
A service of thanksgiving will be held in Green Pastures Church, Ballymena, on Thursday 19th October at 12.00pm.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21
